FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
1) How do I book a tour?
Choose a tour on the website and click "Book" - enter your preferred date, number of participants, and a contact (WhatsApp). We will confirm availability and send details: time, meeting/pickup point, what is included, and what to bring.
2) Do I need to pay a deposit in advance?
Sometimes an advance payment or deposit is required to secure the time/vehicle - it depends on the tour and season. We always confirm payment terms before finalizing the booking.
3) Do I need a driving licence for quads and buggies?
In most cases, yes. The driver must hold a valid Category B driving licence and bring the original document.
4) What is the minimum age?
It depends on the activity. Quad/Buggy: drivers are usually 18+, passengers may be younger if requirements are met. E-bike: often suitable for many people, but minimum age/height may apply. Share your group details and we will suggest the best option.
5) Is the tour suitable for beginners?
Yes. Most tours are beginner-friendly with a safety briefing, guide/instructor support, photo stops, and a comfortable pace.
6) Do I need to be fit?
Quad/Buggy: usually no special fitness is needed. E-bike: basic stamina is recommended because it is still an active experience.
7) What should I bring?
Recommended: passport/ID (and original driving licence for quad/buggy), comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, water, sunscreen, and sunglasses with strap. For higher-altitude routes, bring a light jacket/windbreaker.
8) What is included in the price?
It depends on the tour, but usually includes vehicle/bike, guide support, and a basic safety briefing. Some tours may include helmet, operator insurance, fuel, or jacket. Check each tour page.
9) Is there hotel pickup / transfer?
Pickup is often available in popular southern areas (e.g., Costa Adeje / Los Cristianos / Playa de las Americas), depending on tour and schedule. Add your hotel/area in the request.
10) Can two people ride on one vehicle?
Usually yes. There are single/double formats for quad/buggy (including two-seat buggies). Passenger age/height/weight conditions depend on operator rules.
11) Are there any weight/height limits?
Some operators set limits for combined rider weight or passenger height/age (especially for children). If in doubt, send us your details and we will help choose a safe option.
12) Is it suitable for pregnant women or people with back problems?
In most cases it is not recommended due to vibration/bumps and physical strain. Tell us about medical restrictions in advance so we can suggest alternatives or confirm with the operator.
13) What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. Routes/times may change, and if conditions are unsafe the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled with options according to the applicable policy.
14) What is the cancellation and refund policy?
For island activities, 24-48 hours notice before start is common (full or partial refund), while late cancellations/no-shows may have limited or no refunds. See our Cancellation & Refunds page.
15) What language is the tour in?
Most commonly Spanish and English are available. Other languages may be possible depending on guide and season. Tell us your preferred language and we will confirm.
16) Can I take photos or videos?
Usually yes, but on quad/buggy tours you must stay focused and avoid recording while moving. Secure sunglasses/phones because wind and dust can cause loss.
17) What if I am late or do not show up (no-show)?
This is usually treated as a late cancellation and a refund may not be available. If you are running late, message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible.
18) Is it safe?
Yes, if you follow the briefing. There is pre-tour safety guidance, route choice based on conditions, and guided support. The key is being sober, responsible, keeping distance, and following guide instructions.
